Welcome!

   I am Glenda Collingsworth, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Administrative Services II. As a proud product of the Richmond County School System—and a proud parent of a Richmond County graduate—this role is especially meaningful to me. My passion lies in supporting students, uplifting our community, and working alongside the incredible employees of Richmond County who empower our young people to achieve greatness. I’ve had the privilege of serving 13 years as a middle school teacher and 16 years as a building-level administrator across elementary, middle, and high school settings. I also spent 5 years in the district office in the Academic Division, and most recently served as the Director of Professional Learning.

   Each of these roles has deepened my commitment to educational excellence while creating a culture rooted in trust, respect, and a shared purpose. I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you and look forward to what we’ll accomplish together for the students and families of Richmond County.
