Volunteers are needed for the
2016 - 2017 school year!
Studies show that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the most important
factors in raising students’ self-esteem and academic achievement. Moreover, most experts
agree that parental involvement should go beyond attendance at teacher conferences and open
house. We realize, however, that each of our families is unique – with its own priorities, needs,
talents, and time constraints – and so we try to provide as many different kinds of opportunities
for parental involvement as possible.
Hephzibah Middle School is in need of volunteers, and will welcome the help of
those interested in contributing their time and talent to our school!
If you want to train to be a volunteer, please call Octavia Randolph at 706-592-4534 x 2125 between 7:00 am - 2 pm, Monday through Thursday to set a time and date. If you need a different time, please call and I will make accommodations for you. Your training certification is valid for two years and may be used to volunteer at any Richmond County school.
